4-10-18 movin' on down the road:
Next morning we all jumped into separate vehicles and were on our way: Ken in the 26' truck, Josh in the 20' truck; Angie in the Explorer with Layla; and me in their Civic with the pups.
Angie and Josh went on ahead so they were there in time for the final walk through. We got there just before they were done.
Layla was unimpressed.
Dinner was at a cute little restaurant in the small downtown area of Perry. We'll probably be regulars there.
The kids went off to the closing and Ken and I watched Layla and the pups some more.
Can't wait til it's warm enough to jump into the pool. It's still unseasonably cool, especially at night--which we found out that night when Ken and I slept on the mattress on the floor of the guest house and the heater wouldn't come on. Turned out the breakers for the guest house furnace were turned off.
Wonder if Molly remembers the pool at their place in Florida. I think she loved it there as much as I did.
Everything went well---the traveling to the new place; walk through; closing. Almost everything---all except the above mentioned no heat in the guest house
