Wyndham Ocean Ridge---The Village; units 674A & B (2 bedroom lockoff):
Edisto Beach is such a nice peaceful little town.
Wyndham pretty much has the monopoly of timeshares here with 5 or 6 separate Wyndham areas. We've stayed in Sea Palms and King Cotton before. King Cotton is still my favorite, but I do like the Village better then the Sea Palms.
We were there for the nights of June 1st and 2nd, 2018.
I was able to get them for half the points of the suite (674B) and got the free upgrade to the 2 bedroom. I love getting to take advantage of our VIP status with Wyndham! I was going to extend our trip another night, but waited too long. Even though there had been plenty of availability showing May 31st, by June 1st it all mysteriously disappeared the next morning!
This is the outside of our building. We had the unit right above the carport. Here we're facing the B units.
The 1 bdroom deluxe.
The little patio off the living room of the A unit.
view from the A unit patio.
view showing the jacuzzi, too. Although we didn't need the jacuzzi, the pool was HOT.
Looking towards the dining room.
the bathroom in the A unit.
master bedroom---pretty similar to the B unit bedroom.
view from living room.
Looking towards the connecting door to the B unit.
another view of the living room.
Unit 674B
This is considered a 1 bedroom suite---smaller then the deluxe.
Still very nice, though! From the doorway connecting A & B.
from living room towards entrance and connecting door.
fold out couch
bathroom
king bed room with large closet and jack and jill door to the bathroom.
View from bedroom window in my B unit.
Hurricane Irma hit Edisto really hard last year, so I was anxious to see if there was still a lot of damage. Instead we found an island looking as good as it did before. The Wyndham units had been shut down for a few months, but I thought they looked great. They were also much roomier then I expected and the location of the Village units was nice. Marsh Point and Bay point would probably be better, but the town is so small, I don't think there is a bad spot. We enjoyed our stay very much!
