3-19-2018  a rainy cold drive back to Atlanta.

The day started out pretty nice.  Lots of blue skies.
pretty scenery along I-75 between Knoxville and Chattanooga.

 color in the trees
hazy and clouds in the distance
Then the rains came!  It poured as we went through Chattanooga.
Didn't see the sun anymore, either.
At least it did stop raining by the time we go to the perimeter.  I even noticed the 6 flags water park for the first time.
Back on I-285 and back to the traffic.
At least there weren't any major slow downs.  Got back to the East side and on up I-85 before the rush hour traffic began.

It was another whirlwind trip, but a pretty good one (minus the Social Security office deal).  It's still a long way from Buford to St. Louis (about 11 hours), but not too bad with a stopover in Knoxville.  I guess in a couple months our trip will take even longer---once we move a couple hours south to the Warner Robins area.  Guess the lunches with all the kids are a thing of the past now, too.
