3-1-2018 more house hunting
Josh's official start date for his new territory---although he's been making the trip down here weekly for about a month now. So he came down by himself a couple days ago and Angie and I joined him yesterday. Today he had an 8:30am meeting, then we all headed out.
Layla ready for another long car ride.
But first, the kids decided to check out a few more houses. Love the ride through the farmlands as we made our way to the houses. Lots of pecan farms and cotton farms down here.
and other assorted foliage.
not to mention all the pine trees.
first house.
It even has a pool!!!!
and a grand entry
and a 1200 sq foot pool house/mother in laws quarters/studio/game room/cool extra space! The kids even said they wouldn't mind if Ken and I wanted to live there if they got this house.
the guest house even has a cool lanai.
maybe even cooler then the regular houses lanai
looking out the windows by the front door.
the guest house from the window in the kitchen
Beautiful house!!!! On about .70 acres of land. With lots of trees in the back for the pups.
heading to the next place.
reminded me of Oregon!
beautiful countryside.
the Georgia fairgrounds.
almost to the next place.
LOVE the patio!
and the pool!
nice private pool area.
This yard is 1.4 acres, but most of it isn't fenced.
another great option
They had planned to go look at some more in a new subdivision, but after seeing these 2 houses, they decided to put an offer in on one of them. So we headed out
Angie and I took a ride through the cute little town of Perry. Josh went back to work for another meeting.
such a quaint little town
reminded me a bit of Old Town St. Charles, Mo.
Then we continued on back to Atlanta. This is what I definitely WON'T miss!!!
It was a fun little excursion. Hopefully they get the house. Apparently there are 2 more showings this weekend. Now we're back to waiting.
