3-18-18 a walk through Carl Cowen park with Tim and Faith and Jesse:
Since it was Sunday, we spent another day with the "kids". It was a nice sunny day for a change, so we decided to take Jesse for a walk. With Carl Cowen park right down the street from their house, we headed there.
Spring is on it's way in Knoxville! Even have wildflowers growing
and the bushes have greened up nicely
people were even out on their boats enjoying the river.
there were lots of places to sit and enjoy the views awhile.
Jesse was having a ball
continuing along the bank
at one point Tim found these sun glasses. I think they look pretty darn nice!
Jesse even ventured into the water a bit
time for another break
one of the 2 Grebes I've seen around here this trip. I've never seen one in Knoxville before.
another break
still hazy looking across the river
after about a mile, we headed back
They even stopped for their portrait
We've always seen this dog park near one of our favorite restaurants, so we decided to take Jesse there, too.
This dog park even has an area by the river for the dogs to play in
Jesse wasn't interested in playing in the water, but he seemed pretty happy to be around so many other dogs.
Back at the house.
Spring is in the air.
After a trip to the grocery store, Tim cooked up some steaks while Faith made potatoes and veggies. Another great dinner.
It was another short visit, but we were still gone from our apt. in Georgia for almost 2 weeks. Monday morning we continued on for another 3 1/2 hours to Buford, Ga.
