3-8-2018  heading up to Knoxville

Time to head back up to Knoxville and watch the pup and kitty while Tim and Faith went to Asheville for the weekend.  It was about a 3 1/2 hour ride, but a rather pretty one.  Georgia is looking like Spring is here.  At least Spring is starting.  Of course, we'll be continuing on to St. Louis after the weekend in Knoxville and back to winter!  So I'm enjoying the little bit of spring along our way.

 This time we took SR 20 straight to I-75----no stopping at gardens or waterfalls.  Probably would have if I hadn't gone to the gardens yesterday.

 It was a pretty day

 lots of color already in the trees.

 Bradford pears are in full bloom.  Red buds starting to bloom.  Lots of leaves starting to bud out.

 Probably my favorite time of the year.

 And Easter is just around the corner.

 Always love this view as we're exiting Hwy 140 onto Northshore Dr right down from their street.

 Dinner was at Lakefront Grill.   Love going there.  A late anniversary celebration for the kids.
