3-7-2018  Gibbs Gardens with Angie and Layla:

It's that time again----time for daffodils!!!  So I had to get back to Gibb's Gardens before my membership expired, which is tomorrow!  Angie also has a membership, so she went, too.  It was a chilly 50ish degree day, but nice and sunny.  It was Layla's first garden visit!!!  I guess she liked it, she slept through most of it.  But Angie and I spent about 3 hours and 3 miles wandering around.
Looking towards the entrance.
daffodils!

Layla in her carriage

heading towards the daffodil hill
pretty daffodils!
I don't think there were as many as last year, but they were still pretty.
especially these double or triple or... ones.
so many different kinds, too.
ones with pretty peach colored trumpets.
the jumbo pure yellow ones.
orange on yellow
yellow on white
OK, here they looked pretty full.

Love the carved rocks.

Layla still sleeping.  I guess she likes the cold air.

She finally woke up, so we got a few pictures of her and Mommy.

She looked pretty happy to be here.

Couple more pictures with her head band.

heading back to the entrance through the children's sculpture garden.
Love this sign!  "Body parts will be pierced!"
on the way out
Gonna miss this garden.  Made it there 4 or 5 times last year.  But now that we're moving a couple hours South, I can't see renewing my membership.   It was nice while I had it.
