8-10-17 Little Mulberry Park:

After another great dinner at Antoneta's in Dacula, we decided to head to Little Mulberry Park in Hamilton Mill for sunset.  We had only been to the park once before.  Somehow, we ended up in a totally different part of the park.  But it was almost sunset, so I just wandered around this area a bit.
This area has a little pond.  The part of the park we were at before had a big pond.

I was heading to this overlook when I noticed a Great Blue Heron there.
Looking back towards the East from the deck.
The Great Blue Heron didn't seem to mind me getting so close to him.
Was able to get a pretty good picture of him with my cell phone!
The clouds got pretty heavy at the horizon, so sunset wasn't too impressive tonight.  But this does look like it would be a great place to be when there is a really good sunset.
Still getting out and trying to see what's around here.  It's just too hot to get out and do much exploring in the daytime.
