Feb. 2-17  walking through The Mall of Georgia---

So there's a HUGE mall a mile from our apartment complex.  Normally we try to avoid that area.  The one good thing about the mall is that just about any chain restaurant you can think of is within a couple miles of it.  Unfortunately, the Mom and Pop places can't afford to open up near it.  So we go to a lot of chain restaurants now---unlike in South Florida.  But, I do occasionally go there.  Usually it's to use a coupon at Penney's that still comes to our mail box for a former Preserve at Mill Creek resident.  Today I decided to walk around a bit and check out what all is in there.  Didn't hit the whole mall, but did get about 5000 steps in.  Even found Tim and Faith's anniversary present from one of the specialty stores.  Anyway---I took a few pictures in the Mall.
On the ground level near the end of the mall that I walked to, there's even a huge play area.

Throughout the mall are these plackards with interesting info about places and things in Georgia.
Different areas were even architecturally different.
They also have huge pictures of Georgia life throughout the mall.
It really is a pretty mall.  I'll have to walk here more often.
