11-9-16  back to Buford, Ga.

On the road again--------heading back to our apartment in Ga.  Tired of the 10 hour drives back and forth to St. Louis, but at least we didn't have to do it from South Florida last year.
Good Bye St. Louis---until next time

somewhere in Illinois
 Southern Illinois
stopped in traffic near Clarksville, Tennessee.
wonder how much longer I'll be able to take pictures of this barn?!
 a real treat---2 in 1 frame!
someday I'll remember the name of the base near Clarksville.
different views---took a detour through the outskirts of Clarksville to get around the tie up on the highway.  For some reason, there's always something crazy going on around this stretch of the highway.
 the highlight of the detour----
 scenery along the detour.
waiting to get back onto the highway by the incident.
Smooth sailing from there.  Witnessed another pretty nice sunset from the road.
At least the weather has been cooperating for our travels.  Although when we got back to Northern Georgia, we had to put up with wild fire smoke for several more days.  They're in an extreme drought.  No measurable rain for about 50 days and counting.   Still pretty warm, too---upper 70's and 80's.  I can almost imagine I'm still in S. Florida.
